Where’s our water going?

How can we be in for another drought?

The water supply was given to the private sector because it is allegedly¬†efficient and wise, yet they can’t even manage to re-open those reservoirs that they haven’t sold off for landfill and housing development.

The story of Joseph with the seven years of plenty and seven years of famine is millennia old, yet it seems that the “top-class” managers of our resources seem unable to benefit from such basic wisdom.

Presumably focussing on maximising share holdings, bonuses etc.

I see “my” water Company is being sold off to a Kuwaiti combine.

What would they want with access to our Water?
