#Marr show. Is James Landale typical of BBC’s supposed lack of bias?

The Andrew Marr show was hosted by James Landale, Today.

I thought that his interrogation of Chuka Umunna was a trifle brusque.

No sooner had he asked a question, than he pushed on with the next question.

Although Umunna did his best to answer the questions, it seemed more like this was a set of accusations than questions seeking information.

I had put this down to a new boy trying to do a Paxman and establish a reputation, until he interviewed his next guest, Grant Shapps.

This interviewee was not only allowed to answer questions unhindered, he was allowed to replace the questions with his own, before answering him.

It’d be interesting to find out if James Landale was active in his local Tory Party.
